March was a month full of creativity, laughter, and connection here at Wallsend Manor Aged Care. We enjoyed a variety of activities that brought smiles, sparked memories, and celebrated at our aged care community in Wallsend.
We began the month with creativity, making memory boards and getting cosy with some morning knitting. Our taste buds were also treated to pancakes for Shrove Tuesday, and later in the month, we gathered for our monthly Fine Dining BBQ, with the Reese's Peanut Butter Ice Creams stealing the show!
Music and laughter filled the halls with a good old-fashioned singalong, and a lively afternoon performance by Lother that had everyone singing along. Our Paint and Sip session featured some impressive Dota painting, and we let our creative sides shine again with some cheerful craft.
We made the most of the stunning autumn weather, heading out on scenic drives; one to Redhead and another along the coast, soaking in the views on a sunny bus trip around the beaches. Our church outing was a peaceful and meaningful morning for many, while St Patrick’s Day shenanigans, complete with potato bowls, brought a festive splash of green to our week.
Through it all, there was no shortage of laughter, connection, and community. Whether it was having a laugh with friends or creating something special, March was another wonderful chapter in life at Wallsend Manor Aged Care.
